Being beat up

I am feeling beat up tonight. I just got news from my employer that I am getting a paycut. It is going to mean around $300.00 less a month, if not more. Then, a very good friend of mine and I have a falling out. She is royally ticked off at me. I am unable to get her to even talk to me. So you can imagine the mood I am in.

Can someone help me? Can someone give me some scripture or something to encourage me. I'm the one in need this time.

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, the gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not, and it shall be given [to] him." James 1:5

God will reveal a way unto you so that you can come out of this hard valley. As He did Paul:

"...Our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on everyside; without were fightings, within were fears. Nevertheless, God, that comforts those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus." (2 Cor. 7:5,6)

God always has someone, and someway, to comfort His people. Just continue to rely on Him, because Paul said at one point, "...We had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises from the dead." Christ is going to turn your sorrow into joy. For, He is the God that "turns the wilderness (desert) into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings." (Psalm 107:35)

Therefore, my dear uncle, don't allow the ruggid terrain of life conquer you. For, "there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother," and His name is Jesus. He will lift you up when you fall (Eccl. 4:10). Take heart, my brother. God is going to carry you through. As a friend of mine, who has suffered many loses in her family, always says, "This too shall pass." And so it shall. In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen.

When I was going through a difficult time in my life about five years ago, I read a Psalm a night throughout the whole time. It made a major difference.
